How hiring works
01
Role brief
We confirm the discipline, design assurance level, RTOS and hardware, documentation standards, location and any nationality, clearance or export-control conditions for the programme.
02
Technical screening by practising engineers
Practising engineers interview on requirements-based testing, structural coverage, partitioning or test-plan problems, staying at the level of disciplines and standards, not programme detail. The method is set out on how we vet engineers.
03
Shortlist with written assessment
The shortlist includes a written assessment per candidate covering DAL experience, certification artefacts authored, audit exposure, notice period and joining date.
04
Your interviews
You interview the shortlisted engineers and decide, including any vetting your organisation or customer requires.
05
Onboarding and follow-up
We handle contracts and onboarding, including your access and site-security procedures, then hold regular check-ins after the start.
Engagement options
- Staff augmentation: verification or avionics engineers on contract for a certification push
- Contract-to-hire: start on contract and convert on terms agreed in the contract
- Permanent recruitment: searches for leads and specialists you employ directly
- Dedicated engineering teams: a V&V or embedded pod working to your process
- Managed testing services: a scoped verification or qualification-preparation work package
Defence and aerospace hiring market and buyer risks
India's defence production reached a record ₹1.78 lakh crore in FY26, up 15.6%, with the private sector at about 24%, according to PIB. The Ministry of Defence notified the sixth Positive Indigenisation List on 18 August 2026 with 405 items, mostly line-replaceable units, sub-systems and spares, and the draft DAP 2026 proposes raising indigenous content for Buy (Indian-IDDM) from 50% to 60%. Each indigenised LRU needs design, qualification testing and documentation, which is why suppliers are hiring embedded, V&V and test engineers. Context is on Make in India and iDEX.
Avionics employers in Bengaluru advertise for DO-178C Level A and B verification engineers, and MIL-STD-461H, released on 17 April 2026, means test procedures are being updated. Buyers should plan for 60 to 90 days' notice at senior levels and for counter-offers. Contract-to-hire keeps a verification schedule moving while permanent hires serve notice. Nationality, clearance and export-control conditions are agreed per programme, and we state clearly when work will be delivered from India.

- Scope a campaign through defence and aerospace testing
- Prepare for qualification with MIL-STD-810 and 461 testing
- Add an independent check with independent verification and validation
- See the delivery side on the defence and aerospace pillar
Frequently asked questions
Which defence and aerospace roles do you staff?
DO-178C software developers and verification engineers, DO-254 FPGA and hardware engineers, avionics systems engineers, rugged embedded and RTOS engineers, V&V engineers and MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461H test engineers. We describe and screen by discipline and standard, and do not discuss specific platforms or programmes.
Do your engineers have security clearance?
Clearance, nationality and export-control requirements are agreed per programme before sourcing starts, because they differ between Indian MoD and DPSU vendor norms and US or European rules. We check eligibility at screening and tell you at the brief stage if a requirement, such as US-person status, rules out delivery from India.
How do you vet DO-178C experience?
Practising engineers ask candidates to walk through artefacts they produced: requirements-based test cases, structural coverage analysis, MC/DC resolution, problem reports and review records, and the DAL they worked at. The written assessment states which life-cycle data each engineer has authored and whether they have supported a certification audit.
How soon can a defence or avionics engineer start?
It depends on notice period and on any vetting your organisation or customer requires. Senior engineers in India commonly serve 60 to 90 days. We state notice and likely joining dates on the shortlist, and an available contract engineer can start while longer processes complete.
Who owns the IP and how is confidential data protected?
IP ownership and confidentiality are set in the contract before work starts. Engineers sign your NDAs, work within your access controls and, where required, on your premises and equipment only. Tell us your data-handling rules at the brief stage so the engagement is set up around them.
Can engineers work onsite at our facility?
Yes. Many defence roles must be onsite for security reasons, and test engineers need access to benches and chambers. Location is agreed per role: onsite in Bengaluru or another Indian city, or remote where your security rules allow it.
What happens if an engineer leaves mid-programme?
Replacement terms are agreed in the contract before the engagement starts. Regular check-ins aim to catch problems early, and for long certification efforts a small dedicated team spreads knowledge across several engineers so one departure does not stall the work.
Tell us the roles, seniority and start date. A practice lead replies with matched profiles.
