Careers at Stalwart Innovations

Stalwart Innovations offers embedded engineering careers in Bengaluru across automotive, defence and aerospace, semiconductor and industrial electronics. Engineers work on AUTOSAR software, safety-critical firmware, UVM verification, post-silicon validation and HIL testing, on our own projects or placed with client teams, with senior engineers reviewing work and guiding growth.

Engineering culture

We work on electronics that has to be right: controllers that are safety-rated, avionics software that is certified, silicon that cannot be patched after tape-out. That shapes the culture. Work is reviewed, requirements are traced, and asking "how do we know this is correct?" is part of the job, not a criticism.

Senior engineers stay hands-on. The person who interviews you is likely to be the person who reviews your code, test specification or verification plan, and who you go to when a problem is hard.

What engineers work on

Automotive software

AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive configuration and integration, ISO 26262 work products, ASPICE processes and cybersecurity. See Automotive.

Defence & aerospace

DO-178C software, DO-254 hardware verification, RTOS and secure boot on rugged embedded platforms. See Defence & Aerospace.

Semiconductor

UVM testbenches, DFT, post-silicon validation, ATE test programs and board bring-up. See Semiconductor.

Embedded & industrial

Firmware, BSPs, Yocto-based Linux, device drivers and edge AI on industrial and IoT devices. See Embedded & Industrial.

Testing & validation

HIL and SIL benches, test automation and requirements-based testing. See Testing & Validation.

How you grow

  • Depth in a standard: learn ISO 26262, DO-178C or UVM methodology on real work products, with review from engineers who use them daily.
  • Breadth across domains: move between automotive, aerospace, semiconductor and industrial work as projects allow.
  • Technical leadership: lead reviews, mentor newer engineers and own a module, a test campaign or a client relationship.
  • Industry exposure: events such as the Stalwart Conclave put you in the room with senior people from the industry.
  • Early-career engineers can start through the graduate academy.

How hiring works

01

Apply or match

Apply to a role on the jobs page, or paste your experience into Talent Match to see which roles fit.

02

Screening call

A short call about your experience, the roles you are interested in, notice period and location preferences.

03

Technical interview

An engineer from the domain talks through your projects in detail and asks practical questions on the tools and standards the role uses.

04

Client or team interview

For client placements, the client may run its own interview. For project roles, you meet the team lead.

05

Offer

A written offer setting out the role, terms and start date, followed by onboarding.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of engineers does Stalwart hire?

Embedded software and firmware engineers, AUTOSAR and automotive software engineers, functional safety engineers, DO-178C and DO-254 engineers, VLSI design verification and DFT engineers, post-silicon and ATE engineers, and test and validation engineers. Current openings are on the jobs page.

Will I work on Stalwart projects or at a client?

Both happen. Some engineers work on projects we deliver, others are placed into client teams through engineering staffing. Each job listing says which type of role it is, and we discuss it with you at the screening stage.

Where are the roles based?

Most roles are based in Bengaluru, at our HSR Layout office or at client sites in the city. Some roles are remote or hybrid, and the job listing states the arrangement. Office details are on the locations page.

What happens in the technical interview?

An engineer from the same domain walks through projects on your CV and asks practical questions: how you configured an AUTOSAR stack, how you closed coverage, how you debugged a board that would not boot. Expect depth on what you have actually done rather than puzzles.

I am a fresher. Can I apply?

Yes, look at the graduate academy for embedded and VLSI freshers, and at entry-level roles on the jobs page. Strong project work, internships and an understanding of C, digital design or SystemVerilog fundamentals all help.

What happens to my CV and personal data?

We use it to assess you for roles and contact you about them. The privacy policy explains what we keep, for how long and your rights to access, correct or delete it.
